During my 32 careers as a Real Estate Financial Advisor, I have guided hundreds of clients through every facet of financing and home ownership.

It is also during these past 16 years, that I am very proud and have worked hard to have achieved the status of a   Reverse Mortgage Certified Specialist.

Individuals who earn the designation as Certified Reverse Mortgage Specialist,  have demonstrated a competency in the area of Reverse Mortgage lending, and as such, are dedicated to upholding the highest standards of ethical and professional practices in the industry. 

I find it alarming that recent statistics show that 1 out of every 3 retires and seniors are a month or 2 away from financial collapse.

It is now my obligation to continue to provide guidance to my Senior clients that is crucial at this stage of their life. Planning for retirement can be challenging. However, leveraging some of the equity that you have diligently built up over the years, through a Reverse Mortgage can provide a safety net that will allow you to navigate a successful retirement.

My mission is to educate the Senior homeowner how effectively utilizing a Reverse Mortgage as part of a retirement income plan, can add years of longevity onto a retirement income portfolio and substantially improve a retiree’s financial situation. Reverse Mortgages can help improve cash flow in retirement, especially during down markets or at times when unexpected expenses arise.

I understand the importance of being knowledgeable, kind, and patient with my client’s and their families.

By working closely with my clients, we determine the Reverse Mortgage product that best fits their particular situation. We will explore all options of this versatile retirement financing tool.

If there is a need, I will also consult with other members of their family, or with their financial planner.

I strive to provide counseling that helps Seniors understand that retirement funds can come from savings, investment income and Social Security. And that now, there is another source that can help complete the longevity planning puzzle. I will help guide and provide a sense of relief for Seniors that they have options that can allow them to stay in their home without fear of losing it due to an inability to afford their current monthly mortgage payment. This includes being able to keep up with necessary repairs and home maintenance, or simply the ability to continue making their Annual Property Tax and Homeowner’s Insurance payments.  A Reverse Mortgage can also pay for medical or long-term care costs or help finance a more suitable home with no monthly mortgage payments.

A Reverse Mortgage can be an integral part of a personal financial plan for retirees and for the elderly, but it is often overlooked. Much of that is due to a misunderstanding.
